All about SS Peter and Paul School

History:  SS. Peter & Paul School is a Kindergarten-grade 6 parish school located in Richmond, Minnesota. SS. Peter & Paul School was established in 1951. Prior to this date, there was a public school which was staffed by Benedictine sisters. The present building was completed in 1959. Today the faculty and staff work hard to continue the Benedictine traditions of SS. Peter & Paul School.

Admission:  The goal of SS. Peter & Paul School is to provide quality, Catholic education for its students.  Because we are a parish-sponsored elementary school, the majority of our students are members of SS. Peter & Paul Parish, but we also educate students from neighboring parish communities.

Enrollment is limited to twenty students in each classroom.  The following registration policy has been adopted by SS. Peter & Paul School:

(1)       Families of currently registered students, children of school staff and previously enrolled families whose older child/children have graduated from SS. Peter & Paul School will have the first opportunity to register.

(2)       Families who are members of SS. Peter & Paul Parish will have the second opportunity to register.

(3)       If space is available, families who are not members of SS. Peter & Paul Parish may register next.

Size:   SS. Peter & Paul School is a small, rural Catholic School located in Richmond, Minnesota. Currently we have an enrollment of 124 students.  We try to create a family atmosphere at SS. Peter & Paul School. Our small size helps students to know each other and their teacher. In addition, we hold all-school events which allow children from different grades to interact. Parents are a vital part of our school community. They work with staff members to ensure that their child receives a quality Catholic Education.
