Dear Parent/Guardian:
Yesterday Fr. Stephen reminded the children that we are ALLELUIA PEOPLE! What a wonderful thought!
These nice spring days this week have really made it quite easy to be happy & joyful!
Rumor Control – I made a HUGE mistake last week and omitted Mrs. Haggerty’s
name when I announced the teachers who were returning next fall. I apologize to Mrs. Haggerty for that omission. She was such
a good sport about this. The GOOD NEWS is that many of you discovered my error. This must mean you are reading the parent
letter!
Teachers Appreciation Week – Thank you to those of you who made this week
special for us. We are so fortunate to have such an excellent staff.
Band Concert– We were treated to a wonderful band concert on Tuesday, May
6th. Hats off to: Brett Wensmann, Austin Stang, Kristie Leither and Alex Jenniges who along with students from
Richmond Public performed for us.
Plantenberg’s Receipts – We did it!! We reached our $150,000 goal.
We will now receive $1,000 from Plantenberg’s for our Technology fund. Please DO NOT send in any more Plantenberg’s
receipts until further notice! Thank you to everyone who saved these for us. Thank you especially to Patti & Tucker Plantenberg
for offering this wonderful program for us.
Fishing Opportunity – The Civic & Commerce is looking
for students to help with their fishing contest on June 14th. The individual would be responsible for bringing
the fish from the weigh station to the holding tank. The good news is that helpers will earn $30. The contest is from 8:00
a.m. – 4:00 p.m. If your child is interested, please call Sheldon Lang at 597-2576.
Summer Bingo Schedule – I have included in this week’s folder the
summer Bingo schedule. (Thank you to Sandy Torborg who looked up all the phone numbers for me!) I know that teams have made
adjustments during the year. I have tried to keep up with these changes but I am not certain that everything I have is accurate.
In short, if I missed your name on the schedule that DOES NOT mean you don’t have to work! I included this information
for you in case you need to get subs for the summer. Please DO NOT call me. You need to find your own sub. Thanks!
River Lake Days – The town of Richmond will be celebrating River Lake Days
on July 18th, 19th and 20th. (Thank you to Cathy Stang and Sheila Torborg who have been attending
the meetings for me.) Included in this folder is a sign up sheet to help work for River Lake Days. PLEASE…PLEASE…PLEASE
